STATEMENT FROM JOHN HORGAN

I want to take this opportunity to inform my constituents that I have recently been diagnosed with cancer of the bladder.  Following consultation with my doctor and a specialist, I will be undergoing surgery today.

I will be taking a few weeks off for recovery before returning to my normal work schedule.  My capable staff will continue to be available to work on issues of concern to constituents, ensuring I am kept updated on case files and other matters that are important to residents of Malahat-Juan de Fuca.
