JOHN HORGAN ON CKNW's "World Today"

JOHN HORGAN says it's "striking" to hear Premier Campbell talk about the "need for selflessness when the only people he is asking to pay the bills are the ones who can least afford it."  He claims the "speed at which the Premier is making his decisions in isolation of the realities that ordinary people are facing every day" is at the root of the problem with the carbon tax and suggests latest poll results show the public is shifting away from that position.

Horgan to Run in New Juan de Fuca Riding

MLA John Horgan says he will run again for the provincial NDP, this time south of the Malahat in the new Juan de Fuca riding.

Horgan, who lives in the Luxton area of Langford, said the new electoral district will allow him to concentrate on one geographic region, as opposed to splitting his time between the West Shore and the Cowichan Valley.
